My Peace on Earth

Whenever I need some ME time or a chance to escape from the rest of the world---I head downstairs to my little palace.  Granted, more often than not this room looks like a tornado of papers, eyelets, and rubber stamps, but there's something truly serene about it to me.

Here are my top ten favorite parts of my room:
#10 - The storage container I have for my Copics.  I just love having all of them right there at my fingertips.

#9 - The super cheap but highly effective printer that I got to use with my Theresa Collins Stampmaker.  As it turns out, I really needed my own crafting printer.

#8 - My brand new E2.  The BEST Mother's Day gift a girl could get!

#7 - The sewing machine that I found on clearance for $55 at Target.  Since I primarily use it just for scrapping/cardmaking---I couldn't really justify spending any more than that on it.  Luckily my DH bought it for my birthday.

#6 - The small containers I found to hold all of my eyelets.  They are by Jolene and are found in the jewelry section at Michael's.

#5 - The binders I use to store all of my Cuttlebug folders.  I bought plastic sheets that typically hold to 4x6 photos per sheet.  They fit the folders perfectly.  I've put adhesive velcro at the open end of each pocket to make sure the folders stay in place when carrying the binder (as it has shoulder straps).

#4 - Tupperwares from Walmart.  They had them in a million different sizes and the lids really snap on.  No worries about spilling all of my pens, stickles, or inks while travelling to Cricut Circle events.

#3 - My caddy to hold all of my most used tools.  I got this in the office supply section of Target for like $7.  It just seems to hold all of my small tools perfectly.

#2 - My awesome shelves to hold my rubber stamps.  These are actually cutlery trays that you'd use in your kitchen drawers to sort your spoons, knives, and forks.

#1 - The storage system I came up with for my cling stamps.  I stamped the images onto a sheet of white cardstock.  I then laminated each of the sheets using my Your Story.  The stamps cling perfectly to these sheets.  So that they would stay put really well I laid a sheet of clear acetate over the stamps and sewed the acetate to the laminated sheet.  Finally I stuck them all into some magazine holders that I got at OfficeMax.  The system has worked better than anything else I've done thus far.
