Saddle Up for Some Pics in the Lone Star State

Just got back to Minnesota from the beautiful state of Texas.  And let me just say that the weather is quite a drastic difference.  The first annual Stampede was a huge success and I cannot give enough credit to Angela and Tammy for putting on quite a show.  While I enjoyed heading out to the Utah Swarm, this event was a three day extravaganza of fun!  Here are a few of the pics taken on my trip.

Rocking Out with a Cute Birthday Card

I love it when I actually get a birthday card done BEFORE someone's birthday actually rolls around.  I made this card for a girlfriend that's having a birthday next week and it's totally her style!  Pretty much everything for this card was printed using my Imagine.

I am also using this card for the My Favorite Things sketch challenge #10.  It's my first time ever posting a card there, and I loved working from a sketch to complete a project.  That's not my typical card making/scrapbooking process, but it worked really well.  I suppose the next step would be to use some of my Copics on a stamped image and include that in the card.  (It seems like I go through phases with using them.)

Spring Ahead (into those cute shoes)!

It's time once again for a Pink Stamper challenge.

Despite an 8" coat of snow on the ground, Robyn has asked us to continue thinking SPRING.  I'm hoping all of these warm weather thoughts well induce its actual arrival.  And while I'm not not quite ready to strut my stuff outside in my heels and sandals---that doesn't stop my children.  This past weekend they decided to have one of their oh-so-typical fashion shows for Tim and I.  I don't have the pics printed yet, but I can't wait to finish these pages up and show them off to the grandparents.
